Each stitch in this work marks a moment of inquiry. It is a practice of sitting with the unanswerable questions. How can we remember something we don't know is lost? Where do we put the grief whose origin is obscured? How do we make sense of what is left over after culture is abandoned or destroyed? It is complete in it's first phase and will be revisited and documented periodically throughout my life as a testament to the unanswerability of broken questions. The process is never complete.
